The cost efficient way to clean large carpeted areas is to first remove the spots and stains with the BGFS5000 portable scrubber, and then go over the entire area with a box style carpet extractor, without having to worry about cleaning the heavily stained spots. The portable scrubber comes with a set of white carpet brushes to start with, and other accessories are sold separately. Comes with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.

How Do I Use The BGFS5000 Floor Scrubbing Tool?
Before you clean, you should ensure you have the right brush or pad for the cleaning job you are preparing to do. To change the brush or bad, follow these instructions:
- Unplug your machine and remove the tank.
- Turn the motor cover up by placing the polisher in front of you.
- To put in a brush, palace the brush on the spindle and push firmly into place until it locks.
- Pads should be placed on top of either scrubbing or polishing brushes. To install a pad, make sure to press the pad retainer into the hole on the pad until it snaps into position.
- To remove a pad, remove the pad retainer by pulling it firmly out of place.
- To remove a brush, pull it out firmly.
To start the BGSF5000 while in the upright position, pull the handle towards you so that it is in the operating position. Use the switch box to turn the machine on. For three-speed models Low/Medium should be used for shampooing carpets and scrubbing floors. High should be used for polishing.
Before storing any accessories or equipment make sure the equipment is completely dry. Here are a few maintenance tips for after you are done cleaning:
- Cord Storage: After use, unplug the cord from the outlet and coil the cord around the cord wrap on the back of the machine.
- Brushes: After using a brush, remove the brush from the machine and use warm (not hot) soapy water to clean the brush. Stand the bristles on a paper towel to dry out the brush before storing. Do not use any drying equipment to dry the brush as it can damage the bristles. Simply allow the brush to air dry.
- Pads: Scrubbing pads should be cleaned with warm soapy water and rinsed with cold water. Afterwards, stretch out the pads to shape & allow the pads to air dry before storing.
- Tank: Never store liquid in the tank of your machine. Empty the tank after use and rinse it out with warm water. To flush the dispensing system, fill the tank partially with warm water. Dispense the warm water into a receptacle.
